About

Hello! This is a blog for sharing the stories of those who have left Antioch Community Church Orlando, a spiritually and emotionally abusive and manipulative church that persists in cult-like practices in Oviedo, Florida.

This blog is powered by the verse in Ephesians 5:11 “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”

Our hope is by sharing these stories, leadership will have to face the truth, repent, and make changes. We also hope that current members will understand the reality of their environment and begin the healing process from the unhealth.

Lastly, we hope that local church-seekers will avoid this church.

Thank you for being here.

To the current congregants of Antioch Orlando:

The heart behind this website is not one of revenge, slander, or malice, but one of love, truth, and care. For something to be slander it must be false, and these lived accounts are true.

If you look throughout scripture, you will see the God the Father, the prophets, Jesus, Paul, Peter, Jude, and John addressing the twisting and manipulation of the word of God and mistreatment of God’s sheep. (Ezekiel 34, Matthew 23, Galatians, Jude, Matthew 7:15-23, Romans 16:17-18, 2 Peter 2, etc.)

If you look throughout church history, you will see the same.

The scripture and truth may offend, but it is out of love that it is shared, so that those under spiritual bondage may be set free and their identity would be in Christ alone.

It is for the ultimate good and health of the church that any issues are communally acknowledged, addressed, and repented from, so that the structural healing may begin. We’ve provided a resources page so those who are experts in these matters would be your guides in the process.

We love you all.

“For I wrote you out of great distress and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to grieve you but to let you know the depth of my love for you.”
‭‭—2 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬

It’s important to note that Antioch Community Church Orlando (ACCO) has broken association with Antioch Community Church Waco – its original church planting source.

Any critique of ACCO is disconnected from the larger Antioch movement and is not representative of the other church plants.
